⎯ MEET THE MAKER
Aneesa Janering
I am a mother, a wife, a home educator to my 4 year old, a home cook, an avid gardener and a maker.
I am a certified coach, a therapeutic art coach and have a 10 years of tech entrepreneurship background.
All of these titles and experiences led me to finding a real passion for creating jewellery that shines.
The Eighth Hour Studio saved me.
When my daughter was born in 2022, I suffered postpartum depression alongside anxiety and undiagnosed at the time auDHD symptoms.
I was lonely, angry and in charge of this gorgeous little human being but had no way other taking care of myself.
At the time, my husband who has worked every day to support us and this dream of mine said to me:
"Make something with your hands. You loved working with your hands and making polymer clay earrings before we had our baby. Do something like that again without expectation, for yourself".
Our bank balance, bead hauls and life has never been the same since.
Thank you to my wonderful husband who is the cornerstone, financial investor, market support and events manager for The Eighth Hour Studio. Without you, none of this was possible.
DEFINING THE EIGHTH HOUR
Handcrafted in the Margins of the Day
The "Eighth Hour" is that space, the hour before the world wakes up, or the quiet moment after the day's demands have settled.
It is the time where I stop managing other people's days and needs and start engineering my own art.
Whether you are stepping into a boardroom at 8am or a gala at 8pm, your jewellery should be a reflection of your internal glow and your external strength. The Eighth Hour is that intersection.
⎯ THE PHILOSOPHY
Beauty should not be fragile.
I saw a gap in the market: jewellery that looked like high-fine art but possessed the structural integrity of industrial design. The result is Gold Lace, an architectural wire-weaving technique that is as resilient as it is radiant.
"I didn't leave my standards behind when I left operations. I brought them with me into every wire, every wrap, every piece."

A Legacy of Excellence
The Eighth Hour Studio encapsulates over a decade of creative fire. When you wear a piece from this studio, you aren't just wearing "handmade." You are wearing a piece of jewellery that has been obsessed over, technically refined, and crafted with a lot of love.
Every stone is hand sculpted. Every wire is deliberately placed. Every silhouette is designed to catch the light at every angle from the first cup of tea to the last dance of the evening.
Welcome to the Eighth Hour. It's time to shine.
THE EIGHTH HOUR DIFFERENCE
Where Intricate Artistry meets Daily Life.
At The Eighth Hour, you shouldn't have to choose between delicate beauty and enduring strength. Our signature Gold Lace technique creates architectural wire-woven structures that are as resilient as they are radiant, made slowly, worn daily.

⎯ THE NUMBERS
Built on Intention, not Impulse
Every piece at The Eighth Hour Studio begins with a clear idea and ends with a considered structure. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is mass produced. Each creation is a small act of engineering and art, made in the margins of a full and beautiful life.
